EACR Cancer Metabolism October 06, 2026 - Bilbao, Spain

Cancer and stromal cells alter their wiring to survive hostile environments and to meet energetic and anabolic demands. Join the EACR in Bilbao in October 2026 to hear the latest findings about how this behaviour may hold the key for unlocking novel treatment opportunities.

The 5th edition of this topic builds on the success of our largest topic-focussed meeting yet, which brought 340 cancer researchers together to learn and network. This time, our expert panel of speakers will guide participants through undocumented metabolic alterations, complex tumour-host interactions, and the mechanisms metabolites use to regulate cell decisions. The ultimate aim of this conference is to expand the horizons for vulnerabilities that can be exploited in cancer treatment.

The target audience for this conference is basic and translational scientists and clinicians of any career stage who want a broad but detailed overview of the recent advances in the field of cancer metabolism.
