XIV WORLD FINANCE & BANKING SYMPOSIUM

We are pleased to invite you to the 14th World Finance & Banking Symposium (WFBS), taking place from December 15–17, 2025, in Brno, Czech Republic, hosted by the Faculty of Business and Economics at Mendel University.

This three-day conference brings together scholars, researchers, and professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, discuss recent developments, and explore emerging trends in finance, banking, and economics. Expect insightful presentations, dynamic discussions, and interactive sessions in a collegial and stimulating environment.

Doctoral Student Opportunities

WFBS offers two participation tracks for PhD students:

1. PhD Sessions (Full Papers)

PhD students with completed papers—including a thorough literature review and empirical or model-based analysis—are encouraged to submit. These sessions will be dedicated exclusively to PhD students, providing a valuable opportunity for feedback and academic networking.

During submission, select “Student: Yes”

2. Doctoral Tutorial (Work-in-Progress)

PhD students may also submit research proposals or early-stage drafts. These will be reviewed by a panel of senior scholars who will provide detailed, constructive feedback.
