World Congress on High Entropy Alloys July 06, 2026 - Anaheim, United States

The 4th World Congress on High Entropy Alloys (HEA 2026) is a cross-disciplinary technical forum designed to share the latest research advances in single-phase and multiphase metallic, intermetallic, and ceramic high entropy materials for functional or structural applications. HEA 2026 will feature highly focused technical talks on topics that include, but are not limited to, fundamental theory of alloy design, computational modeling and simulation, properties, processing, and applications of high entropy alloys.

Networking opportunities will also offer attendees a chance to informally discuss the latest developments in high entropy alloys, while also making valuable professional connections. The congress will attract research leaders from industry, government, and academia from across the globe, as well as students and postdocs interested in the science and engineering of metallic materials and high-performance alloys. Scientists and engineers will be convened to facilitate linkages and collaborations on this promising technology, to hopefully lead to widespread application and adoption of these materials

Technical topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Alloy Design
  • Characterization Techniques for HEAs
  • Environmental & Irradiation Resistance (corrosion and oxidation)
  • Functional HEAs
  • Fundamental Theory & Computationally Aided Design
  • HE Ceramics
  • High-throughput, Autonomous, and Machine Learning Assisted HEA R&D
  • Mechanical Properties and Deformation Mechanisms of HEAs
  • Processing of HEAs (welding, joining, brazing, additive manufacturing)
  • Refractory HEAs

The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) is a professional society that connects minerals, metals, and materials scientists and engineers who work in industry, academia, and government positions around the world. We create networking, publication, and professional development opportunities by convening international conferences, publishing books and journals, administering awards, conducting short courses and training, and bringing together the professional community to address issues of common concern. We also provide leadership in the accreditation of university programs in metallurgical, materials, and similarly named engineering programs.
