World Congress of the World Association for Dynamic Psychiatry on March 22-26, 2027 in Vienna, Austria

We are delighted to invite you to the 21st World Congress of the World Association for Dynamic Psychiatry (WADP), held in conjunction with the XXXIVth International Symposium of the German Academy for Psychoanalysis (DAP).

The congress will take place from 22–26 March 2027 at the University of Vienna, one of Europe’s oldest and most renowned centres of learning, located in the heart of this vibrant and historic city.

Our theme, “Identity: Person, Group, Society – Implications for Psychotherapy and Psychiatry,” will explore the complex relationships between individual and collective identity in today’s changing world.

Through lectures, symposia, and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to engage in scientific exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue, and personal encounters that enrich professional practice.

Researchers, clinicians, and students from around the world are warmly invited to join us in Vienna.
