unKonf provides the freedom for all participants to create their own unconference experience, without being limited to pre-determined topics or speakers. This results in a diverse range of lectures, featuring research findings and field reports from a variety of participants.

On this day, young IT specialists, experienced software developers, well-known speakers, and entrepreneurs from the IT scene gather together to discuss and learn from each other.

The opening event of this year's unKonf will feature a keynote speech by Uwe Friedrichsen on the theme of "Patterns of sustainability - Going green in IT".
