The International Symposium Translation and Security: The Role of Translation in Enhancing National and International Security on July 02-03, 2025 in Rabat, Morocco

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) announce the organization of an international symposium on “The Role of Translation in Enhancing National and International Security.”


This symposium aims to explore various dimensions of the role of translation in security, ranging from security-focused translation that supports intelligence and counterterrorism efforts to humanitarian translation contributing to the management of international crises. It will also examine the impact of modern technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence and machine translation, on the future of security and translation work, opening new opportunities for collaboration between security institutions and language experts.


This initiative seeks to provide an academic platform that brings together policymakers, experts, and researchers to discuss innovations, exchange experiences, and explore strategies for leveraging translation to strategically enhance security and stability worldwide.

النـدوة الدوليـة الترجمـة والأمـن: دور الترجــمة في تعزيز الأمن الوطني والدولي تعلن منظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (الإيسيسكو) وجامعة نايف العربية للعلوم الأمنية تنظيم ندوة الدولية بعنوان: “الترجمة والأمن: دور الترجمة في تعزيز الأمن القومي والدولي.” تهدف هذه الندوة إلى استكشاف أبعاد متعددة لدور الترجمة في تعزيز الأمن، بدءاً من الترجمة الأمنية التي تخدم أجهزة الاستخبارات ومكافحة الإرهاب، وصولاً إلى الترجمة الإنسانية التي تسهم في إدارة الأزمات الدولية. كما ستتناول الندوة تأثير التطورات التكنولوجية الحديثة، مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي والترجمة الآلية، على مستقبل العمل الأمني والترجمي، مما يفتح آفاقاً جديدة للتعاون بين المؤسسات الأمنية وخبراء اللغة. تسعى هذه المبادرة إلى تقديم منصة أكاديمية تجمع صناع القرار والخبراء والباحثين لمناقشة الابتكارات، وتبادل الخبرات، وبحث السبل التي يمكن من خلالها توظيف الترجمة بشكل استراتيجي لتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في العالم.
