It is a great pleasure to welcome you to The International Epilepsy Surgery Society Congress IESS Dubai 2024, which will take place 19th – 21st January 2024 at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The event is set to be one of the largest and most comprehensive epilepsy surgery congresses in the region.

This congress marks a milestone in epilepsy treatment and unlike other epilepsy conferences, it provides three full days of content related to various aspects of epilepsy surgery techniques.

The content is presented by global leading experts in the field, allowing participants to discuss aspects of neurosurgery with distinguished regional and international faculty.

IESS seeks to bridge the treatment gap for potential epilepsy surgery candidates through scientific exchange, promotion and education on the surgical aspects of epilepsy treatment. IESS form an overarching body of authority in our subspecialty by joining forces among the many departments and divisions of functional neurosurgery in many neurosurgical societies around the world.

Acting as a strong partner and equal to our colleagues from neurology and all other disciplines involved in the treatment of patients with epilepsy Practice at the local, regional, continental and international levels.

We are really fortunate to have this meeting in collaboration with the Epilepsy surgery techniques meeting (ESTM), the international league against epilepsy (ILAE), The Egyptian Society of Neuroradiology (ESON) and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center.

The scientific program is distinguished, with high-level courses, and distinguished speakers From all over the world, and very educational and fascinating presentations. I firmly believe that the content of this conference from sessions to courses will guide our young neuro interventionists and epilepsy surgeons,

broadening their minds, strengthening their technical skills, and introducing them to a new era with a brighter future.
