Teaching Languages and Cultures in the Post-Method Era: New Insights and Innovations on October 06-07, 2023 in Niš, Serbia

We are thrilled to announce that after a pandemic-caused hiatus, Teaching Languages and Cultures conference is back! The English Department and the Centre for Professional Development of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš, invite you to the Fourth International Conference Teaching Languages and Cultures in the Post-Method Era: New Insights and Innovations (TLC 2023), to be held on October 6 and 7 2023, at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš.

Like the previous three times, and especially post-pandemic, we hope that the conference is a fruitful place for the idea exchange and networking. We invite researchers and teaching practitioners from different areas, as we witness that the changing nature of learning and information gathering has to be reflected in a joint effort of different disciplines to offer teachers new and redesigned means of teaching.

One of the challenges the conference aims to address is how these requirements influence the choices teachers make in terms of their professional development.

The goal of TLC 2023 is to provide a vibrant arena where these different questions can be addressed, and new research findings and views will be exchanged.

Invited plenary speakers: Thor Sawin, Associate Professor (TFL/TESOL programs), Middlebury Institute of international Studies at Monterey (MIIS), USA and Milica Savić, Full Professor of English, Department of Education and Sports Science, Faculty of Arts and Education, University of Stavanger, Norway
