The Public Issues and Public Reason Conference (PIPR) Fall 2021

Call for Abstracts: Application deadline September 24th, we are only accepting submissions from graduate students. 

Submissions are welcome from graduate students in philosophy, law, social sciences, public policy, political theory, political science, economics, health policy on any issues and topics related broadly to applied ethics, critical social sciences, ongoing contemporary social issues, and global challenges. The Public Issues and Public Reason conference (PIPR) is a multidisciplinary conference hosted by the Ethics and Public Affairs graduate programs at Carleton University. It is open to all graduate students who work on current social and political issues, global challenges through the lenses of political theory, applied ethics and critical social sciences with an emphasis on multidisciplinary engagement. This conference will be hosted virtually and remotely from Carleton University in the fall of 2021.
