Nigeria Education Innovation Summit on November 28-29, 2024 in Lagos, Nigeria

NEDIS Education Innovation Summit is an annual education sector stakeholders’ convening organised and hosted by The Education Partnership (TEP) Centre. This event is designed as a platform to highlight the role of education innovations in solvingchallenges facing the delivery of accessible and high-quality education. Since its inception, conversations at NEDIS have explored new, exciting and sustainable approaches for increasing access to quality education, especially for the marginalised and underserved. Discussions at the summit underscore the importance of identifying and systematically scaling innovations such that they become more deeply embedded in policy systems and reach more beneficiaries.

In 2024, NEDIS 8 is being organised as an international event, 
with technical partnership and active participation from global and regional organisations based in other African countries and the rest of the global south. The event is scheduled to hold in July, 2024, in Lagos and is expected to attract over 500 education stakeholders drawn across different sectors. The discussion at this year's summit will explore the issues and opportunities for strengthening skills development (through education and training, workplace readiness and inclusion. NEDIS 2024 will cover a broad spectrum of topics and subthemes from teacher development, learning outcomes and assessment, the role of research and evidence data, private sector involvement etc. NEDIS 8, aims to bring together stakeholders in the education sector in Nigeria to explore possible pathways to strengthening education systems for effective teaching and learning leading to skills development and economic prosperity for all.
