About

The main objective of the event is that the Librarianship as a domain, it has evolved and changed its functionalities and modalities, in the context of ever changing ICT and Digital Technology along with the ever growing and ever changing needs of the Library user; this would be evaluated and discussed in the conference  with the research contributions  made by the participants as one hand and in other hand the challenges faced by the professionals in the context of Paradigm shift .

Call for Papers

    We are inviting the contributors to submit their original research manuscripts to be included in conference proceedings on the theme and sub themes of the conference with ISBN which is scheduled to be released in National Conference on “Current Trends and Challenges in 21st Librarianship (CTCLIS21).

    The off-line conference is scheduled to be held on 30th September & 1st of October 2022 (Friday and Saturday). 

    The full articles are to be submitted to the Conference editors using the Google registration form. Full paper alone will be accepted for the conference.

     The University Library, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Melakottaiyur, Chennai is inviting Librarians, Teaching Faculties, researchers, graduate students, experts and other academic communities may submit proposals full papers - for the National Conference on Current Trends and Challenges in 21st Academic Librarianship on or before 15th  September 2022. And no papers will be accepted beyond this date.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

    Papers for inclusion in proceedings must be between 3,500 and 4,000 words, submitted with 300-350 word abstracts and Keywords. Graphic materials: photo images, diagrams, figures, maps and others shall be included as attachment in a jpeg format and indicate by use of numbers preferred placement areas in the manuscript. All full papers, inquiries should be sent by email to: [email protected]. Please indicate “National Conference on Current Trends and Challenges in 21st  Librarianship” in the subject line.

    Full Paper Submission Deadline: 15st  September  2022.

    Selected papers for publication will be notified on or before 16th September 2022 in the website.:www.library.tnpesu.org

    All submissions to the National Conference on Current Trends and Challenges in 21st  Librarianship must be typed in double-spaced in MS Word using Times New Roman, 12 pt.

    Please use the APA 6th edition in text citations and references Style for paper.

    Please identify a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 Keywords reflecting the content of your research paper. The research paper alone will be accepted.

    The authors of the accepted papers should submit the copy right agreement and authorship responsibility form.

Selection Process

    All full papers will be carefully reviewed by a Peer Review Team and implemented in plagiarism check. If the paper exceeds 20 percent similarities it would summarily be rejected.  Each author shall be notified by email about the outcome of the review process.

Evaluation Criteria

    The paper makes original contribution

    The literature review is adequate and find the research gaps

    The paper is based on a sound theoretical framework and/or research methodology

    The analysis and findings are relevant to the objective(s) of the paper

    The conclusions match the findings and findings are to be applicable in the current situation in the profession

    The paper is well organized

The Guidelines for Paper Submission process should be followed properly in writing and submitting the paper.
