MSK Ultrasound (Hands-on) Course on November 04-07, 2024 in Cambridge, United Kingdom

JCA Seminars are pleased to offer one of the UK’s only practical, week-long, MSK Ultrasound course in Cambridge, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on ultrasound experience under the watchful eye of our experts.

Using Medical Ultrasound machines, we’ll cover the do’s and don’ts of MSK Ultrasound for shoulder, hand, wrist, elbow, foot, ankle, and knee as well as interventional procedures looking at Ultrasound guided injections and muscle biopsies.

Programme will include days dedicated to:

Monday – Shoulder with Liz Bowles, Senior sonographer at Illumina Diagnostics Ltd

Tuesday – Lower Limb with Liz Bowles, Senior sonographer at Illumina Diagnostics Ltd

Wednesday – Upper Limb with Subhasis Basu, Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist, Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust

Thursday – Interventional (MSK injections covering Long head of biceps tendon, Sub acromial bursa, Acromioclavicular joint, greater trochanteric bursa. and Morton’s Neuroma) and Lumps & Bumps (Hernia’s) with Jonathan Scrivens, Consultant Sonographer, Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Norfolk

Daily format: 8:30 Registration / 9:00am Start / 11:00am Coffee break / 13:00pm Lunch /15:00 Coffee Break / 16:30 – 17:00pm End of day.

Accreditation: 27 CPD/CME Credits can be claimed in accordance with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists.
