The program demonstrates robotic and laparoscopic techniques for common bile duct exploration and strategies for bailout. Biliary tree imaging, as it relates to gallbladder surgery and common bile duct stones, is also reviewed. Participants practice techniques with a hands-on dry simulation lab and gain practical experience.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

- Review the evidence supporting minimally invasive common bile duct explorations

- Describe how to set up your common bile duct exploration program utilizing fluoroscopy

- Discuss multiple biliary imaging modalities in complex cholecystitis

- Discuss how to introduce new procedures into your institution
