Lendings, signifying, identities on November 05, 2022 in Oxford, United Kingdom

Identity, role and gender have their part to play in narratives, and their recognition may turn plots. Clothing, for example, may function in a cultural, semiotic, system. It’s a signifier in Shakespeare and in the Bible. We are looking for papers with a reading time of 20 minutes, and we look especially for associations with Christian and Biblical themes.
