Latin American Simposium on Solid State Physics SLAFES on January 11-15, 2027 in Valparaíso, Chile

The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the XXVI Latin American Symposium on Solid State Physics - SLAFES 2027, which will be held in the city of Valparaíso, Chile, from 11 to 15 January 2027, at the Main Campus of the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.

Since its creation in 1969, SLAFES has established itself as one of the most important scientific meetings in solid-state physics in Latin America, periodically bringing together researchers, academics, and graduate students from the region and other parts of the world. The symposium provides a privileged forum for the presentation and discussion of recent results, the exchange of ideas, and the strengthening of scientific collaboration networks.

The scientific program will include plenary talks, invited presentations, oral contributions, and poster sessions, covering various areas of solid-state physics and related fields. To date, we have confirmed 30 speakers from different areas and regions.
