The International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID) is an international professional society for researchers and students with an interest in personality, temperament, cognitive abilities, motivation, mood and other forms of individual differences, together with their applications. It celebrates its 40th birthday this year.

Members and non-members are very welcome to attend our next in-person conference at Queen’s University, Belfast, UK from July 17-21 2023. Our conferences are informal, relaxed and friendly, and welcome the newest students as well as the most senior researchers.

Members of ISSID are given a substantial discount from the registration fee, and they alone can attend the pre-conference workshops. Students and those from developing countries who plan to attend the conference will save money by first joining ISSID. To obtain the discount you will need to have your application to join ISSID accepted before you register for the conference. This can take several weeks, so please apply well in advance.
