SCIENTIFIC ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED:

• Modern methods of assessment and forecast for the aquatic biological resources state, including the assessment of IUU fishing

• Mathematical modelling of population and ecosystem dynamics

• Management of stock-fishery systems and bioeconomic optimization

• Development of software and mathematical-methodological support for processing data on the state of aquatic organisms and the environment

• Artificial intelligence in fisheries research

• Modelling the dynamics of the atmosphere and ocean and its impact on the state of ecosystems and stocks of commercial aquatic organisms

• Mathematical models in limnology and aquatic ecology

• Ecosystem approach to fishery management

Following the results of the Conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials (with an ISBN assignment), which will be posted on the E-library platform and on the VNIRO official website.

The official languages of the Conference are Russian, English and Chinese. The Organizing Committee provides the possibility of simultaneous interpretation.

The Organizing committee accepts registration forms and abstracts in Russian or English languages (1-3 pages) to the e-mail addresses: [email protected] or [email protected].

The Conference is a platform for exchanging experiences and establishing contacts between employees of scientific and educational organizations in the fisheries sector. The discussed reports cover a broad geographic scope of research and a diverse range of species. They examine and provide practical recommendations for addressing the most pressing issues in stock assessment of commercial aquatic species and substantiating TAC.

Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) - the head research Institute of the Russian fisheries industry. The research organization was established 140 years ago for scientific support of the state activity on fishery management, coordination of implementation of plans and programs of fishery research works of all fishery scientific organizations of the Russian Federation. VNIRO carries out scientific expedition researches and develops biological substantiations of volumes of the total allowable catches (TAC) and the recommended catch of water bioresources of the seas and fresh waters of Russia and the World ocean. Scientific researches of "VNIRO" cover the issues of creation and development of scientific and technical bases of fishery activity, protection, rational use, monitoring, conservation, reproduction of aquatic biological resources and their habitat, aquaculture and international activities.
