The International Metrology Congress deals with Measurement, Analysis and Testing processes, and explores the evolution of techniques, advances in R&D and industrial applications. The event is unique in Europe in the field of measurement.

The Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM)'s goal is to disseminate best practices for measurements and processes in industry. All industrial fields and physical, chemical and biological quantities are concerned. The CFM is also a place for exchanges between metrology experts, laboratories, technical centers and measurement end-users in industry. The founding members of CFM are the national metrology institute, Laboratoire National de métrologie et d’Essais (LNE), the Centre Technique des Industries aérauliques et thermiques (Technical Center for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Industries) and Peugeot Citroen Automobiles (PSA Groupe – car manufacturer). At the end of year 2021, CFM gathered more than 650 members. CFM works in cooperation with the French Ministry of Industry, the COFRAC (French committee for Accreditation) and all regional associations involved in metrology in France and abroad. On the international level, OIML, BIPM, Euramet, EA and NCSLi are the partners of CFM. CFM represents France within Imeko.
