International Human Factors Rail Conference on September 18-19, 2025 in London, United Kingdom

The 8th International Human Factors Rail Conference will be held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul's, on 18 and 19 September 2025.

The aim of this conference is to bring together scientists, consultants, regulators, operators, infrastructure managers, manufacturers and suppliers to share rail human factors knowledge. The conference will focus on the discussion of topical issues such as human factors in design, new technology, in-cab signalling, traffic management, non-technical skills, the platform-train interface, and safety culture. The last event in 2021 saw 198 delegates join us from around the world, to come together to share state-of-the-art human factors research.

The conference is organised by Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) and supported by: Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF), Department for Transport (DfT), The European Union Agency for Railways (ERA), International Union of Railways (UIC), Network Rail, Newcastle University, Office of Rail and Road (ORR), Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) and University of Southampton. 


The conference ticket includes:
