The conference is organized by the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of Karadeniz Technical University.

The symposium aims to bring together scientists, researchers, and engineers to exchange ideas and share their recent works and applications on various aspects of contact interactions, lubrication, wear, surface modifications, mechanobiology, tribology, and other relevant subjects. The conference will also provide a medium for technological developments in the fields of following but not limited to testing, measurement, coating, quality control, and microscopy.
