International Conference on Soil Pollution and Remediation on March 15-16, 2023 in Lahore, Pakistan

Soils act as a sink for many contaminates released into environment that are ultimately deteriorating soil health and quality. Soils of Pakistan are at the forefronts of pollution because of the pressures of unprecedented rise in population, intensive agriculture, industrial expansions, unplanned urban sprawls, and mismanagement of solid and hazardous wastes. The 1st International Conference on Soil Pollution and Remediation (ICSPR) will be organized by Environmental Science Department of FCCU, Lahore during 15-16 March 2023. The conference will help us to understand biogenically and anthropogenically induced soil pollution and will provide an opportunity for participants to learn and share the latest remediation approaches to protect our most important natural resource i.e., soils. The event will be instrumental in providing comprehensive and integrative solutions to soil pollution. The conference aims to provides a premier interdisciplinary platform to leading academic scientists, researchers, and environmentalists to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of soil pollution and remediation ensuring food security and environmental sustainability. The event will provide highly valuable information to reduce and mitigate soil pollution by using clean and green technologies (conventional and nanoscale), and sustainable strategies to improve soil health and quality.
