International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics CIBB on September 02-04, 2026 in Rome, Italy

The International Conference on Computational Intelligence Methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CIBB) is an international, multidisciplinary meeting for researchers exploring the application of Computational Intelligence techniques, broadly defined, to challenging problems in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and medical informatics.

CIBB welcomes submissions that highlight emerging trends and future directions at the intersection of computational and life sciences, with particular interest in the use of computational intelligence for systems and synthetic biology, statistical modelling and inference in complex biomedical data, and AI-driven biomedical research. Contributions from both theoretical and experimental biologists are strongly encouraged to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Authors are invited to submit short papers (4–6 pages) presenting original research in areas such as bioinformatics, biostatistics, systems and synthetic biology, medical informatics, and chemoinformatics. Accepted papers will be presented in plenary oral sessions or dedicated special sessions.

Since its foundation, CIBB has published 16 proceedings books, 4 sections of proceedings books, and 16 journal supplements, featuring around 500 peer-reviewed scientific contributions (see past editions).
