International Conference on Bio-based Polymers and Composites on September 01-05, 2024 in Esztergom, Hungary

We are glad to announce that the International Conference on Bio-based Polymers and Composites is making a comeback in 2024.

Our first International Conference on Bio-based Polymers and Composites (BiPoCo) was organized in 2012, focusing on the characterization, modification, and application of biopolymers. The success of the conference initiated the organization of three subsequent events in 2014 (Visegrád), 2016 (Szeged), and 2018 (Balatonfüred), respectively. The scope of the conference has been extended along the way with topics on smart, nano-structured systems for delivery and controlled release, with particular attention paid to the biomedical application of polymers. Regretfully, BiPoCo 2020 had to be canceled due to all the uncertainty and severe restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.The positive feedback received from the participants of former meetings and all the friendly requests to continue with this tradition encouraged us to bring BiPoCo back. In 2024, the conference will be organized for the 5th time, with a renewed scope reflecting current trends in the sustainable production and application of biopolymers, as well as the wider role they play in biomass-based value chains.

We are sincerely hoping that this coming event will be our most successful ever, providing a memorable experience to returning, as well as new BiPoCo attendees alike.
