International Conference on Advances in Cement and Concrete Research on November 04-07, 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa

We would like to invite you to attend the 4th International Conference on Advances in Cement and Concrete Research (ICACCR 2025) which will be held from 4 – 7 November 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa. ICACCR 2025 is organised based on the collaboration between the University of South Africa (UNISA), South Africa and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Nigeria. This collaboration has brought together two different research groups: the Sustainable Green Concrete Research Group (SCCRG), chaired by Prof. Bolanle Deborah Ikotun, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Building Science, UNISA and the Cement and Concrete Research Group (CEMCON), headed by Prof. Akeem Ayinde Raheem, Department of Building, LAUTECH, Nigeria. The ICACCR 2025 aims to bring together academics, researchers, and industry professionals to showcase their latest findings in the area of cement and concrete technology. The conference, themed “Innovative Construction Materials and Technologies for Sustainable Development” intends to accommodate knowledge in the field of supplementary cementitious materials, 4 IR technology in concrete, nanotechnology in cement composites, concrete for resilient and durable buildings, water quality in concrete production and concrete materials for sustainable development.

To ensure global participation, ICACCR 2025 would like to invite presenters to submit either full papers or extended abstract for presentation. The conference will be hybrid (onsite and online), availing opportunities for international participants who cannot make it physically to the conference to present online during specially organised virtual sessions. The previous three conferences in the series have recorded remarkable successes owing to the stature of the keynote speakers invited, the profile of the international scientific committee members, quality of papers submitted, paper review process, and the publications (Materials Today: Proceedings (Elsevier) and Materials Research Forum) that are Scopus indexed. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous double blind peer review process and accepted papers will be published in a Scopus-indexed outlet.
