International Conference of the Polish Society for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality on September 24-26, 2026 in Krakow, Poland

The Polish Society for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality (PTPRiD), in cooperation with the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Kraków, cordially invites scholars and practitioners to participate in the 7th International Conference of PTPRiD entitled Spirituality and/or Religiousness – A Remedy for Existential Emptiness and Health or a Modern Excess?, which will take place in Kraków on September 24–26, 2026.

The conference will provide a space for academic dialogue and reflection on the place of spirituality and religiousness in contemporary human life — both as potential sources of psychological health, resilience, and social connection, and as phenomena undergoing transformation and reinterpretation in the changing realities of the 21st century.

The program will include keynote lectures, thematic sessions, poster presentations, introductory workshops, and an online component enabling remote participation. The main language of the conference will be English, with selected sessions conducted in Polish.

Confirmed keynote speakers include Prof. Doug Oman (University of California, Berkeley, USA), Prof. Vassilis Saroglou (UCL – University of Louvain, Belgium), and Prof. Stefania Palmisano (University of Turin, Italy).
