We Invite You to Attend the Annual Innovations in Wound Healing Conference

Our unique meeting is led by a group of experienced educators, scientists and clinicians interested in communicating new approaches to the repair of tissues throughout the human body. The program will focus on the science of tissue repair and the implementation of new findings. We share a vision of establishing a welcoming venue to disseminate and exchange the latest advances and thinking in the science of tissue repair and the development of novel, improved strategies to address an important medical need. Participants will gain a broader perspective of the challenges of moving basic science discovery into patient care, from our presentations that extend from molecular biology to clinical development. This one-of-a-kind conference will be a balance between formal presentations, informal discussions, and poster sessions, with the goal of maximizing networking opportunities for all involved.

WHO

Our target audience comprises of clinicians, developers, students and scientists from government, academia, and industry who share an interest in innovative ideas and novel therapies for tissue regeneration and the treatment of chronic wounds.

iDerm Meeting:

Innovations in Dermatology

December 5-6, 2026

In-Person @ Hawks Cay Resort, Duck Key, FL

Join us for the Inaugural iDerm Conference - December 5-6, 2026

The annual Innovations in Dermatology course will spotlight new and emerging advances across the spectrum of dermatologic science, bridging foundational discoveries in skin biology with the latest innovations in diagnostics, therapeutics, and regenerative medicine. The course will review the impact of precision immunomodulators, targeted biologics, and energy-based technologies, as well as novel approaches to wound healing, pigmentary disorders, and chronic inflammatory skin diseases. Additional sessions will explore the molecular underpinnings of scarring and keloid formation, the biology of itch, advances in hair regeneration, and the role of stem cells, tissue engineering, and aging in skin health.

Teaching methods include lectures, expert panel discussions, Q and A sessions, and interactive case presentations designed to foster translational insight and clinical application.

We are excited to partner with the Innovations in Wound Healing annual conference as a pre-meeting conference.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

- Describe recent advances in skin biology and explain how new insights into inflammation, infection, and neoplasia inform the pathogenesis and management of dermatologic disease.

- Apply evidence-based approaches using emerging diagnostic modalities-including imaging, confocal microscopy, and AI-assisted tools-to improve clinical decision-making in dermatology and wound healing.

- Evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of novel therapeutic strategies, including precision immunomodulators, targeted biologics, and advanced topical and energy-based treatments.

- Identify innovative management approaches for complex dermatologic conditions such as epidermolysis bullosa, pigmentary disorders, chronic itch, and hypertrophic scarring or keloids.

- Assess the role of regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, and tissue engineering in enhancing skin repair, preventing scarring, and mitigating the effects of aging.

- Incorporate multidisciplinary collaboration among dermatologists, wound care specialists, researchers, and allied professionals to translate scientific innovation into improved patient outcomes.
