Innovations and applications through the mathematics of operational research

Building on the success of the three previous conferences held in 2017, 2019, and 2021 this conference will aim to draw together the considerable community of researchers and practitioners who use/develop innovative mathematics, relevant to the applications and theory of Operational Research. The conference will showcase activities from across OR, and will welcome both contributions which have a clear application focus as well as those which

are theoretically driven.

Contributions will be expected to showcase both Mathematics and OR. The conference will host plenaries from leading international experts, sessions of themed talks, as well as poster sessions, and provide plenty of opportunities for networking.

We welcome all to take part in the conference. As part of raising awareness and improving understanding of the different barrier’s individuals face, we would like to invite session leaders (and individual speakers) to include as part of their presentation(s) their own experiences of achievement, inclusion, and exclusion.

A pack for delegates will include details on the venue's disability access, baby changing facilities, the nearby Martin Luther King multi-faith prayer centre, and information on where to find details on local Creche's, transport links, and other local amenities. We also welcome special requests and will accommodate them where possible.

Call for Papers & Posters

Call for Papers: Papers will be considered for the conference based on a 300 word abstract for oral presentation. Abstracts should be submitted by Monday 19 December 2022 via https://my.ima.org.uk/  If you are an IMA Member or you have previously registered for an IMA conference, then you are already on our database. Please “request a new password” using the email address previously used, to log in.

Call for Posters: Papers will be considered for the conference based on a 300 word abstract for poster presentation. Posters are encouraged particularly from PhD students, and a prize for the best poster presentation will be awarded. Abstracts should be submitted by Friday 3 February 2023 via https://my.ima.org.uk/  If you are an IMA Member or you have previously registered for an IMA conference, then you are already on our database. Journal Submission IMAMAN

Presenters are encouraged to submit their full paper to the IMA Journal of Management Mathematics (IMAMAN). Deadline for submission of full papers to IMAMAN is the 30 June 2023 (2 months after the conference). We welcome papers in any of the 6 major Areas covered by the journal.
