Green Energy Summit on April 15-16, 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The Green Energy Summit Saudi Arabia 2025 (GESA 2025) will take place on 15 - 16 April 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

The conference theme is “Solar PV + Green Hydrogen = Future”.

Saudi Arabia’s NREP which is under VISION 2030 has already set the target to produce 50 per cent of KSA’s energy mix through renewable energy by 2030. Regionally renewables generation capacity is expected to increase by 160 GW by 2035. Collectively, this creates a tremendous opportunity for renewables manufacturing in the Kingdom. It’s expected that the Renewables industry will have a total investment of SAR 6.7Bn by 2035.

In the Solar PV sector, the market was valued at USD 1.45 Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to project robust growth in the forecast period with a CAGR of 13.7 per cent through 2029.

In the Green Hydrogen sector, Saudi Arabia has set ambitious hydrogen production targets, aiming to reach 2.9 million tons per year by 2030 and scale up further to 4 million tons per year by 2035. We estimated the total amount of investments made in green hydrogen thus far at around $900 million.

In the two-day event, we will discuss Regulatory Environment, Developers’ Projects Updates, Technological Advancements and Cost Reductions, International Collaboration and Investment, National Hydrogen Initiative, NEOM Hydrogen Valley, Hydrogen Fueling Stations, Local Workforce Capacity and more from both domestic and international perspectives.
