The theme of the Symposium is "Gearing up future-ready learners: Rethinking perspectives in English language and communication teaching in higher education". Subthemes include technology-enhanced pedagogy, assessments & feedback, interdisciplinary & collaborative pedagogies, and related areas.

The Symposium's invited speakers are Professors Cecilia Chan (The University of Hong Kong), Heath Rose (University of Oxford), Icy Lee (Nanyang Technological University) and Jessie Moore (Elon University). The Symposium will bring together a myriad of educators, researchers and professionals to discuss the latest developments in English language teaching in higher education. It will be a time for knowledge exchange and networking.

Please submit your abstracts via the Symposium website by 15 November 2024. Registration opens on 15 Dec 2024 and closes on 15 May 2025.
