Educating Nurses: Riding the Waves of Change on June 24-28, 2024 in Breckenridge, United States

"Riding the Waves of Change'' is a metaphorical expression that signifies the dynamic nature of the nursing profession and the need for nurses to adapt to and embrace the evolving healthcare landscape. "Educating Nurses: Riding the Waves of Change" refers to the challenges faced by nurse educators in preparing future nurses for our changing healthcare environments.

Healthcare environments are constantly evolving due to advancements in technology, changes in policies, emerging diseases, scientific advancements, and shifting patient demographics. As a result, nurses in all environments must continually update their knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet these changing demands. Those who educate nurses play a crucial role in equipping the nursing workforce with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide safe, effective, and person-centered care across a wide array of settings. As we all ride these waves of change, we must adopt mindsets of adaptability and resilience. As educators, we must foster these in our students and fellow nurses as well. The Nurse Educator Conference in the Rockies will help nurse educators tackle the metaphorical ocean of challenges that our role entails!

Join us for the 2024 Nurse Educators Conference in the Rockies as we foster our own ability to embrace change, think critically, and continuously engage in professional development!
