Congress of International Advanced HBP Surgery on October 22-25, 2025 in Toronto, Canada

We are thrilled to invite you to the 6th Congress of International Advanced HBP Surgery (ISLS 2025), taking place from October 22-25, 2025, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Canada. This will be the first ISLS congress in North America.

Organized by the International Society of Liver Surgeons (ISLS), this prestigious event will bring together leading experts in hepatobiliary and pancreatic (HBP) surgery from around the world. The congress will feature a comprehensive scientific program, including invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, live demonstrations, and a variety of sessions showcasing the latest advancements in HBP surgery.

In addition to the scientific program, the congress provides numerous networking opportunities, enabling you to connect with peers, exchange knowledge, and discuss current trends and challenges in HBP surgery. Specialized workshops and symposia will highlight cutting-edge surgical techniques and innovations, providing valuable insights and hands-on learning experiences.

This edition of ISLS will be co-located with the 2025 Advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Transplantation: A Global Perspective Conference, taking place October 25 - 26, 2025 in Toronto, co-chaired by Dr. Nazia Selzner and Dr. Cynthia Tsien, featuring a Joint Session with Keynote Speaker Dr. Nouman Ashraf addressing "Enabling Exemplary Care Through Behavioural Empathy."

An exhibition area will showcase the latest medical devices, technologies, and pharmaceuticals related to HBP surgery, offering participants a chance to explore groundbreaking innovations in the field.

Abstract submission for poster and/or oral presentation at the ISLS 2025 Congress is open until June 16. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. A selection of the top scoring abstracts will be chosen for publication in the International Journal of Surgery.
