Annual NYSSMA Winter Conference on December 05-08, 2024 in Rochester, United States

Join the more than 1,500 music educators expected to attend the 88th Annual NYSSMA Winter Conference. Sessions on all aspects of teaching music.  Student showcases highlighting songwriting, electronic and traditional music composition, and piano performance. Keynote address by Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser and welcoming remarks from NAfME President Deb Confredo. Spend time at our large exhibit floor with vendors specializing in sheet music, music technology, music classroom equipment, acoustic treatments, travel, musical instruments, music novelty items, college music programs, and much more (There are still booths available if you'd like to be a part of our exciting exhibit floor). Performances by school ensembles from across New York State, as well as rehearsals and performances by the 2024 NYSSMA All-State Ensembles (More than 800 students that are given significant blocks of time to visit with our vendors).  All-State concerts take place at The Theater at Innovations Square and the astounding Kodak Hall at the Eastman School of Music.
