Annual GeoAg Virtual Conference on July 24, 2024 in Miami, United States

Annual GeoAg Virtual Conference on July 24, 2024 in Miami, United States

There is a new agriculture-based education curriculum being researched and taught at colleges and universities across the country called geological agriculture or GeoAg - the study of growing plants in rocks without the use of soils and fertilizers. We have figured out how to predictably harness the minerals of rocks to grow plants to maturity. We would like to collaborate and invite you to view portions of our upcoming virtual conference.

We invite you to join us for the 4th Annual Geological Agriculture Virtual Conference hosted by Bronx Community College/CUNY this year on July 24, 2024 from 10am to 3pm to learn about GeoAg sustainability in public education. We host the free summer virtual conference to provide opportunities for schools and institutions to integrate the GeoAg information into the fall and spring activities.

RSVP here: 4th Annual Geological Agriculture Virtual Conference Tickets, Wed, Jul 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM | Eventbrite

PhDs from around the world will share the latest in GeoAg research including faculty researchers from Bronx Community College/CUNY, Namibia University of Science and Technology, Morgan State University, Tuskegee University, Florida Memorial University, and Savannah State University.

We will showcase our GeoAg sustainability curriculum in action from cities like Atlanta, Miami, and Philadelphia where we added more literacy components to the GeoAg curriculum this year. See the attached GeoAg Public Education overview and our UNDP Namibia demonstration project recap which will be presented during the conference.

Now that we have figured out how to harness the minerals in rocks from the hardware store to grow plants, do you want your students to know the skill of GeoAg of using the rocks around them to grow plants? We think that the new knowledge of rock use may be a good sustainable and resiliency science skill to know. Let us take another look at rocks.

13 Speakers 20 minutes each.  See the program and topics here:
