Advanced OB-GYN Ultrasound Symposium 2025: Women’s Health Imaging: A Practical Approach to Elevate Your Skills on January 17-19, 2025 in Nashville, United States

Our goal is to improve your skills with practical approaches to ultrasound imaging. This 3 day course will be presented by leaders in the field. The sessions are packed with practical tips and pearls and designed for all who perform ultrasound. Our interactive, comprehensive course will cover a range of diagnostic conditions and gynecologic imaging, as well as obstetrical/prenatal scanning and diagnosis. Our attendees will hear lectures from expert maternal – fetal medicine specialists, gynecologist, radiologists, sonographers and genetic counselors who will present cutting edge cases in order to share their respective multidisciplinary approaches to various clinical scenarios.

The course will include an informative gynecologic section with outstanding faculty who will discuss the latest in gynecologic ultrasound including optimizing your scan techniques, infertility, hCG & PULs, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, new approaches to adnexal masses, 3D ultrasound, incidental findings in your GYN scans, the emerging role of AI, along with many cutting edge cases.

Upon completion of this conference, the participant will be able to:

Improve optimization of gynecologic and obstetrical imaging and recognize features which are clearly benign from malignant

• Understand the critical role of 3-D ultrasound in gynecologic ultrasound

• Improve evaluation of the adnexa and endometrium

• Differentiate abnormally developing early pregnancies from normal based on sonographic correlation of anatomic findings and hCG

• Improve skill in performing office-based sonographic infertility evaluation

• Understand potential role and limitations of AI in gynecologic ultrasound

• Understand the sonographic approach for screening for placenta accreta spectrum

• Recognize anomalies amenable to detection in the first trimester and enhance diagnosis by using a guideline-based approach

• Recognize the key planes for imaging the fetal heart and how to implement a systematic approach in evaluating the fetal heart

• Identify congenital heart defects using the 4-chamber view, the outflow tracts and the 3-vessel trachea view

• Recognize key planes for imaging the fetal brain and how to follow a systematic approach in evaluating the fetal brain

• Identify the key anatomic structures of the posterior fossa of the fetal brain and improve skill in identifying abnormalities

• Understand the major gastrointestinal defects and the sonographic clues to enhance diagnosis
